I arrived at 9:30 and fished above where Caples joins it until 12:30 when the river silted up.  Needles, bark and huge branches started flowing by.  I caught 16 rainbows before the Silver Lake output increased from 5 fps to 38 fps stopping all action and raising the water level by a foot.  I hiked back to the foot bridge on Caples and fished up for an hour and a half catching 4 more fish.  Brown stones were flying around from the start and my BEHS worked all day.
