East Fork of the Carson 09-23-09

Dave and I arrived at 8:00 and fished until 5:00.  The air was cool at first, then warm and the water was 57°.  We fished miles of river below Hangman’s Bridge.  We caught 20 fish with an eighteen inch brown being the biggest.  Davey had a 24+ inch rainbow on for quite a while until his 5x gave out when the fish wrapped it around a rock.  All were caught on either the BEHS size 14 or a tan stone nymph size 10.
