East Fork of the Carson 10-7-09

Dick and I fished above Hangman’s Bridge starting at 11:00.  The water temp was 50° and the air was warm.  We caught a hand full of fish by 2:00.  Dick had to leave so I went upstream and ran into a few big fish.  I managed to catch one and had a couple others on for a while and I also caught 4 smaller fish.  The big ones were stubborn.  I tried a lot of different flies but eventually they attacked a prince nymph size 12.  The smaller fish were caught on the BEHS size 14.
