Red Lake Creek 10-24-09
Lisa and I arrived at 12:30 and fished until 4:30. The air was 65° and the water was 58°. We caught 12 on PTs size 16. We saw sparse amounts of October caddis flying around before we left. The fish were sitting in the current eating nymphs or emergers that we couldn’t see. I tried smaller BWO nymphs and got a few hits but most ignored them. The fish chased after our PTs making for some fun fishing. The fall colors are going off right now as well.
